Tudor Submariner Date 79090 Full Set
Perfect Patina
Discontinued Tudor Submariner reference 79090 from 1995, this reference was introduced in 1989 and run for six years making this model a last year of production reference, it is also the last Tudor Submariner reference to use plexiglass.
Dial is Black with tritium luminous hour markers in circle and triangular shape. Original ‘Mercedes’ hours hand and pencil minutes hand the tritium hour markers and hands have aged beautifully to a light cream patina.
Case is 40mm in stainless steel, screwed-down case back and crown, graduated bidirectional revolving back bezel for the decompression times, triplock winding-crown protected by the crown guard.
Movement is the reliable ETA 2824-2 with 25 jewels automatic.
It comes as full set with outer box, papers, booklet, wallet and presentation box.

Watch has been fitted with a new Rolex supplied modern Tudor oyster bracelet with screwed links that makes it more wearable and fully adjustable for everyday wear.
Additionally we have preserved the original vintage folded link Tudor bracelet separately that is part of the full set.
This is a very nice package for someone wanting to collect a plexiglass Submariner with patina that is part of a timeless design.
