DESCRIPTION | |
This new model created exclusively for the Americas combines one of Richard Mille’s most innovative tourbillon movements the fully suspended caliber RM 27-01 within an NTPT Carbon version of the casing created for one of the company’s most complicated timepieces the RM 050 Tourbillon Split Seconds Chronograph.
Reminding us of the brand’s fascination with high-tech materials, innovative movement design, and next generation watchmaking, the Richard Mille RM 50-27-01 was crafted from strong and super light NTPT carbon, finished off by a stunning grained effect on top. Furthermore, the top and bottom bezels show off a rough machined matte finish, while the red accents and the matching red rubber strap act as mesmerizing contrasting touches. The Richard Mille RM 50-27-01 watch benefits from the RM 27-01’s caliber, which means a manually wound tourbillon, with 45-hours worth of power reserve, a skeletonized titanium baseplate and bridges made from aluminum-lithium. Highly technical, with lovely little details like the star-headed titanium spline screws supporting the bridges, this exquisite timepiece is more than a fashion accessory. This limited edition watch seems to have been designed with engineers in mind, as they are probably even more capable of appreciating its magic and also understand it. Fantastically over-engineered, the wonderful Richard Mille RM 50-27-01 Suspended Tourbillon is limited to only five units and is complete with all pertaining documentation and warranties. |
