The Hublot Big Bang Stainless Steel presents a compelling contrast between two worlds. On the one side, there is the loud design language of Hublot, best exemplified by the 44 mm case diameter. On the other, there is the relatively reserved colour scheme, featuring different shades of grey which allows the watch to go relatively unnoticed.
This is achieved with a stainless steel case, with a black ceramic bezel, and lateral Kevlar inserts. The dial is made out of carbon fibre dial with stainless steel markers filled with white lume. Holding the watch on the wrist is a black polyurethane strap with a deployment Hublot style clasp, a material which while now common in the industry, has been introduced by Hublot to the market.
Powering all this is an automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. It features a chronograph complication, as well as a date display between 4 and 5 o’clock. The watch is water proof to 100 meters and comes complete with box and all pertaining documentation.
